Annette writes award-winning songs of love and longing; angels and demons. In the spring of 2015, Annette debuted her album of originals, Songs from the Talking House. The following year, it took home the WAMMIE (Washington Area Music Association) for Contemporary Folk Recording of the Year. She performs at local and regional venues and festivals and co-hosts a popular monthly songwriter’s circle at Asparagus Media. She also hosts and curates Songwriter Sundays at MilkBoy ArtHouse, a series featuring the best local and touring songwriters.

In April 2015, Indie-folk rocker Annette Wasilik, debuted her CD of originals Songs from the Talking House. It caused a bit of a stir and in 2016, won Best Contemporary Folk Recording of the Year from WAMA, The Washington Area Music Association. Later that year, her song “Don’t Look Down” won an Honorable mention in the 2015 Mid Atlantic Song Contest. She performs at local and regional venues and festivals, co-hosts a popular monthly songwriter’s circle and is the founder and curator of the songwriters’ performance series, Songwriter Sundays at MilkBoy ArtHouse which features the best local and regional talent.
