For decades, Vic and Reba Heyman attended concerts and festivals across the nation, supporting artists with their energy as well as financially, earning them the affectionate title of “folk angels”. In their spirit, our annual award recognizes and supports a rising individual or group in the folk community… but we need to replenish that pot to keep the award going! We're gathering the talented performing artists of FocusMusic leadership along with the winner of our most recent Rising Artist Award, Rebecca Berlin, to put on one SPECTACULAR end-of-the-year showcase and fundraiser in the hopes that we can keep the RAA going for many years to come!
